I am here to help you take the next step

I understand that asking for help is difficult. Sometimes we need someone who truly wants to listen and be there for us. I believe that having someone in your corner to both validate and challenge you is essential to personal growth. I will help guide you through this process of self-discovery - piecing together the mosaic of your life in a way that can serve as a window to your past and a guide to your future.

I have a deep passion for counseling and helping people find the healthiest version of themselves. My specialties include:

My Therapeutic Approach

I greatly value authenticity and honesty in my relationships both in and out of the counseling room. My mission is to be there for you in any way you need. I will sit in with you while you’re going through tough times. I will celebrate your victories with you. I am the person who will tell you if there is food in your teeth. I come from a person-centered therapeutic lens, coming from a place of care for you and your experience.

In my approach, we will examine the health of your mind, body, and spirit, and I will provide tangible skills to help you grow in each of these domains. My goal is  to create a sacred and safe space for you to feel secure when exploring difficult emotions and topics. I will do everything in my power to help you feel safe and ready to take on these challenges. We can explore any variety of concerns and experiment with new ways of being, and discover tangible ways to enact change in your everyday life.  Methods that I use include mindfulness, meditation, movement, grounding techniques, and other customized coping skills that will be for unique needs of door.

Together, we can take the first few steps into the therapeutic experience. The therapeutic process is challenging, but with every challenge comes the opportunity of empowerment, increased confidence, and self-discovery. Let me help you decide which path you would like to take next.

About me:

I hail from the state of New Jersey, where I learned to embrace the no-nonsense and relentless spirit of the Garden State. After moving to Colorado in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, I grew to appreciate the patient and humble perspective of the mountain culture, and have naturally blossomed to represent both of these qualities in the way I conduct myself. Self-care is imperative to maintaining my individuality, and my reliability to my clients. Some methods I engage in self-care include drawing, meditating, yoga, hiking, listening to music, gaming, and riding horses.

One passion that has followed me through the years  is my passion for movement and fitness. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and have been working in this field for the last 8 years. I am also a nationally competitive powerlifter and powerlifting coach, and much of my free time is devoted to finessing and pursuing my sport, as well as helping others exceed their physical expectations.

My education, sport, and career have thus inspired me to take initiative in using movement as medicine, and bodies. My hope is to one day use my knowledge to merge body kinetics, talk therapy, and expression in a way that has never been seen before.
