I always take work home with me.

My work keeps me away from my family.

I’m always tired.

I can’t forget the things I have seen.

I feel like my job is my identity.

Real heroes don’t wear capes. Real superheroes wear uniforms and badges and stethoscopes! Real superheroes are members of our military, law enforcement, and first responders.
— Dean Cain
Our first responders risk their lives to help others. The least we can do is make sure they have the resources they need to do their jobs.
— Ben Nelson

Being a first responder comes with demands and challenges that no one, other than fellow first responders, can comprehend. The familial challenges are also things that can be difficult to explain and understand. The long shifts, missed family gatherings, and traumatic experiences can create an abundance of emotions.

Here at Momentum, we have clinicians who know what it is like to be a first responder, as well as be a family member to a first responder. We are dedicated to helping those who help our community.

Together, we can work with you and your family on:

  • Communicating more effectively

  • Processing past trauma

  • Anxiety

  • Panic attacks

  • Dissociation

  • Depression

  • Creating a schedule

  • Difficulty sleeping and insomnia

  • Feelings of irritability

  • Becoming more present

If any of this sounds familiar, and you’re ready to ask for help, feel free to contact us to schedule an appointment or a free 15-minute phone consultation.

At Momentum, we are dedicated to helping the people who keep us safe. If we do not take your insurance, make sure to ask about our slide scale.
