My Therapeutic Approach

In therapy, I honor a holistic therapeutic approach. I believe in addressing the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit to support clients in navigating life’s challenges. By considering the whole person, I focus on understanding the underlying factors contributing to their struggles, aiming to promote balance and harmony. Through active listening, empathy, and compassion, we work together to explore your emotions, thoughts, and behaviors without judgment. Utilizing a combination of evidence-based theories, mindfulness techniques, and somatic practices, I encourage clients to tap into their inner strengths and resources, empowering them to heal and grow from within. By fostering self-awareness and self-acceptance, I guide my clients on a journey of self-discovery and transformation, helping them find renewed purpose and meaning in their lives.

More about me:

I am originally from the Midwest, in a suburb outside of Chicago. I am enrolled in the Mental Health Counseling Masters program at Palo Alto University. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. After my undergraduate, I lived in Honduras and Hawaii, advocating for the coral reefs and researching manta rays as an underwater videographer. These experiences instilled a profound appreciation for the interconnectedness of life and the importance of fostering a sense of harmony and balance within ourselves and our environment. I traded in the ocean for mountains and moved to Colorado in 2019. For enjoyment, I practice yoga, hike with my chocolate lab, Kaia, reading and seeing live music.
