“I wish I could break free from the pain of my past”

“I feel like my worries define me”

“I want to move forward, but I don’t know how”

“I feel like I can’t connect with others the way I want to”

I Hear You.

I strive to offer support and guidance that will empower you to make the changes you want to see for yourself. I can't take away your past or guarantee that there won't be any dark days in your future, but I can help you let go of the pain connected to your trauma, be it big or small, and build skills to prepare for the challenges of tomorrow.

My therapeutic approach

I believe that no two humans are the same, we each have struggles and successes that no one else can completely understand. So I practice a varied therapy style, tailoring my approach to the individual needs of each client that I work with. I am trained in both EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and my graduate course work focused on neurocounseling, all of which helps me assist clients in gaining a better understanding of their experience and the connection between their mind and body.

Life is unpredictable. One day, you're on a steady march to your dreams, and by the next, you feel like the world is crashing down. I know what it feels like to be in that place. No matter where you find yourself in life, I'd love the opportunity to help you make those goals feel possible.

To see if we are a good fit, you can email, call/text me, or fill out this form to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation. I look forward to meeting you.

more About me:

I grew up in rural Missouri and will always be a small-town girl at heart. I attended Truman State University, where I obtained dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Psychology and Exercise Science. I completed my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with an emphasis on Neurocounseling in August 2020. I completed the majority of my coursework remotely, which allowed me to move to Utah and work in the field of wilderness therapy while obtaining my degree.

In Utah, I worked with adolescents struggling with sexually-based issues and adoption. Utah ignited my wild heart in a way I could never have expected, but part of me has always known Colorado was calling ever since my many childhood trips to visit family. I relocated to Fort Collins in May of 2023 and am so excited to continue my journey in such a beautiful place!

When I’m not at work, I enjoy doing almost anything outdoors, but my favorite hobbies include rock climbing, biking, golfing, and ultimate frisbee. On a rare day when I’m stuck inside, you can find me playing an ultra-nerdy board game or reading a good book.
