“I feel so alone…”

“I don’t want my kids to grow up feeling the way I did”

“We can’t seem to connect, no matter how hard we try”

“I feel like a failure….”

“I don’t know if I’m worth anything”

“I want to feel seen and heard”

“I overthink constantly and can’t seem to enjoy my life”

“I want to have a better relationship with my child”

“I want to work through my past so it doesn’t affect my future”

I hear you. You are not alone. You are worth investing in, and you can experience peace and joy.

I am passionate about:

My Therapeutic Approach

I value deep connection and authenticity in both my personal and therapeutic relationships; there is so much power in the ability to feel deeply with another human being and be fully present with someone. Life is incredibly complicated and challenging, and oftentimes we can end up feeling lost and alone. My approach focuses on helping you feel and experience difficult emotions, understanding where they come from, and gaining deeper knowledge of the dynamics at play beneath the surface of our relationships that are leading to conflict and pain.

Helping my clients feel heard, seen and validated is at the forefront of my therapeutic approach, and I employ a variety of interventions, pulling from multiple theories including Psychodynamic, CBT, Narrative, Gestalt, and many more. Creating an open and nonjudgmental space in which to fully explore thoughts and feelings is my focus as a therapist, and helping clients unpack negative self-talk and unconscious narratives that can derail hope, progress and peace is my goal.

To see if we are a good fit, you can email, call/text me, or fill out this form to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation. I look forward to meeting you.

More about me:

I have a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of St. Thomas, where I spent time working with children placed in alternative care, as well as case management for adults.

I spent many years teaching abroad in Europe and connecting with my students inspired me to pursue a career in Mental Health. I have a master’s degree from Capella University in clinical social work.

I live in Denver, and I have learned to love the mountains and all they have to offer. I enjoy playing soccer, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking and teaching my two children to love the mountains as much as I do.

I am passionate about self-growth and strongly believe in living life to the fullest, which includes consistently putting myself out of my comfort zone. Beginning therapy can be uncomfortable and scary, but it can lead to incredible growth and fresh perspectives.
