“I experience guilt and shame over distressing intrusive thoughts about taboo topics (harming someone, inappropriate behavior, etc.) that go against my morals and values.”

“I relapsed again... I'm at a loss of what to do.”

“I often feel paralyzed by fear, and I can feel my heart pounding out of my chest.”

“High school/College are supposed to be the ‘best years of your life’... I’m struggling.”

your struggles do not define you

Life is full of ups and downs but when you throw mental health struggles into the mix: simply living everyday life can feel difficult. I understand that life doesn’t always turn out the way we expect and sometimes we just need someone to talk to. I am here for you. I offer a warm, comfortable and safe space to work through any challenges life has thrown your way.

I work with individuals, and I am passionate about:

My Therapeutic Approach

My therapeutic approach is rooted in person-centered theory and cognitive behavioral therapy. I believe that my clients are experts in their own experiences. My job as your therapist is to support you through self-discovery, exploring challenging emotions and finding what makes you happy. I work under the mindset that the therapeutic relationship is a collaborative journey, where we can work together towards identifying goals and implement effective strategies for positive change. My goal is to empower you and help you live more mindfully.

To see if we are a good fit, you can email, call/text me, or fill out this form to schedule your free 15-minute phone consultation. I look forward to meeting you.

About me:

Hi, I’m Kaitlyn. I moved to Colorado from New Jersey in 2019. I have a creative and empathic soul. I crave deep connections with others and being immersed in nature. Before becoming a mental health counselor, I worked for eleven years as a hairstylist. My past work experiences helped me to empathize and understand the challenges and pressures of the ‘real world’. Outside the therapy office, you can find me spending time with my dogs and foster dogs, exploring beautiful Colorado, creating digital art, and getting lost in any and all science fiction series.
