About me:

I grew up in a small town in northern Arizona, where I completed high school and my Associates degree. I went on to attend the University of Northern Colorado and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Communication. Shortly after graduation, I applied to a regional airline for a position as a flight attendant and was thrust into the world of aviation. After several years working as a solitary flight attendant on 50-passenger aircraft, I was hired by a large international commercial carrier in the Spring of 2020. The pandemic hit the airline industry with force, unveiling an industry-wide mental health crisis.

This shift weighed heavy on my heart, and I spent countless hours engaging in “jump-seat therapy” with my colleagues. After I witnessed the loneliness, anxiety, pain, and loss in the industry, I left my position as a flight attendant in 2021 to pursue an education and career in mental health care.

I also love working with individuals with autism and other disabilities. I advocate for social justice, affirm the LGBTQIA+ community, discuss race and oppression, and identify with religious deconstruction and spirituality. In this space, you are safe, special, and welcome.

On the daily, you can find me listening to true crime podcasts, reading a newly released mystery book, and crocheting amigurumi. I am married to an airline captain who flies for a legacy carrier, and we enjoy traveling, cheering on the Colorado Rockies, and eating our way through Denver!
